- Servings: 3
Ingredients
- (6 Slices) Applewood Smoked Pork Jowl Bacon, Garlic and Herb Rubbed
- (1 pound) Ground Beef
- (1 TSP) Onion powder
- (1 TSP) Garlic powder
- (1/2 TSP) Ground black pepper
- (1/2 cup) Einkorn Flour
- (3 slices) Alpine Heritage Garlic Cheddar
- (1 TSP) Salt
- (3) Pasture raised, Corn & Soy-free Grade & size Eggs
- (2 TBS (melted)) Grass-fed Meadow Butter Roll Salted
Directions
- Step 1
Cook bacon on top of the grill over medium heat until browned and crispy, (about 10 minutes).
- Step 2
Meanwhile, mix ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper together with your hands. Divide into 3 portions and roll into balls.
- Step 3
Remove bacon from the grill and increase heat to medium-high.
- Step 4
Pour flour onto a plate and roll burgers around in the flour until well coated. Pour some melted butter onto the hot grill.
- Step 5
Place 1 of the burgers onto the oiled grill and press down firmly until it forms a patty, about 1/2-inch thick; repeat for other 2 burgers. Cook until browned, 4 to 5 minutes. Use a firm, metal spatula to flip patties in order to scrape up all of the crust. Continue to cook until browned and no longer pink, 4 to 5 minutes more. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the burgers should read at least 160 degrees F.
- Step 6
Reduce heat to medium and add more butter. Crack eggs onto the grill. Cook until outer edges become opaque, about 1 minute. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook until whites are completely set, about 4 minutes.
- Step 7
Assemble burgers in buns with cheese, bacon, and egg. And enjoy!
Add some freshly picked onions to the meal.
If you don't have a grill, a skillet on the oven will work too.
Fry the eggs in whatever style you choose, I prefer over-medium.
