The meat becomes so tender and juicy. It is the perfect solution for the Fourth of July party grill!
- Servings: 4 - 6
Ingredients
- (1 tbs) ground cinnamon
- (1 tbs) onion powder
- (1 tbs) garlic powder
- (1 tbs) dry mustard
- (1 tsp) Chinese five-spice powder
- (1 tsp) sea salt
- (1/2 tsp) ground black pepper
Directions
- You'll need about 2 pounds of grass-fed steak, such as tenderloin, skirt steak, or rib eye.
- Mix the dry rub spices together in a small bowl. Rub over both sides of the steak and allow to marinate in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
- Heat the grill to medium heat. Remove the steak from the fridge to let it come to room temperature while the grill heats up.
- Place the steak on the hot grill and cook for about 7 minutes. Then flip and cook for another 5 minutes for medium-rare or medium, or until the temperature of the steak reaches between 130°F to 140°F.
- Let the steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving
