Grilled Cinnamon Steak
The meat becomes so tender and juicy. It is the perfect solution for the Fourth of July party grill!
  • Servings: 4 - 6


  • (1 tbs) ground cinnamon
  • (1 tbs) onion powder
  • (1 tbs) garlic powder
  • (1 tbs) dry mustard
  • (1 tsp) Chinese five-spice powder
  • (1 tsp) sea salt
  • (1/2 tsp) ground black pepper


  1. You'll need about 2 pounds of grass-fed steak, such as tenderloin, skirt steak, or rib eye.
  2. Mix the dry rub spices together in a small bowl. Rub over both sides of the steak and allow to marinate in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  3. Heat the grill to medium heat. Remove the steak from the fridge to let it come to room temperature while the grill heats up.
  4. Place the steak on the hot grill and cook for about 7 minutes. Then flip and cook for another 5 minutes for medium-rare or medium, or until the temperature of the steak reaches between 130°F to 140°F.
  5. Let the steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving
