Sausage Stuffing Balls

These are awesome! They are appetizers, but they also make great meatballs.

Ingredients
- (1/2 cup) Herb seasoned bread crumbs
- (3/4 cup) Hot water
- (1 pound) Applewood Smoked Turkey Sausage, Spinach and Garlic
- (1/2 cup (finely chopped)) Heirloom Stuttgarter Onion
- (1/2 cup (finely chopped)) celery
- (1 (beaten)) Pasture raised, Corn & Soy-free Grade & size Eggs
- (1/2 TSP) Vinegar or lemon juice
Directions
- Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
- Step 2
In a medium bowl, mix herb-seasoned bread crumbs with hot water. Gradually mix in sausage until blended with the bread crumbs. Stir in onion, celery, egg and lemon juice or vinegar.
- Step 3
Shape the mixture into 1 inch balls. Place the balls on a large baking sheet, cover with foil and bake in the preheated oven 15 minutes.
- Step 4
Remove foil. Raise oven temperature to 350 degrees F. Continue baking 25 minutes, until golden brown.
