Ingredients

  • 1 pasture-raised turkey (size according to your needs)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, and sage)
  • Olive oil or melted butter
  • Garlic cloves (optional)

Directions

  1. Preparation:
    • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
    • Remove the turkey from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Rinse and Pat Dry:
    • Rinse the turkey inside and out with cold water.
    • Pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. Season the Turkey:
    • Liberally season the inside and outside of the turkey with salt and pepper.
